Strohl, a member of a longstanding Strohl legacy at Southwestern, has made a significant impact on the Moundbuilder golf program throughout his time as a student-athlete, assistant coach, and head coach.
"Jackson has meant a great deal to Southwestern College, both as a student-athlete and as a coach," said Athletic Director Matt O'Brien. "He has carried on the Strohl legacy with pride and has had a tremendous impact on our golf programs. We are grateful for his dedication and wish him nothing but the best moving forward."
As a student-athlete, Strohl served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons, was a member of the Student-Athlete Leadership Team, earned KCAC All-Academic honors, and was named the 2022 Male Athlete of Character.
During his time as head coach, Strohl guided the women's program to a match play championship appearance in 2024 and helped lead continued progress across both programs. This season, Southwestern has seen multiple individual top-10 finishes while the team has climbed eight spots in the national rankings and continues to trend upward.
A national search for the next head men's and women's golf coach is immediately underway.
